Colourpop Shayla Collaboration

Colourpop: Shayla x Colourpop Full Collection Review and Swatches

September 11, 2018 kazza7Beauty

Colourpop, the US makeup brand that’s known for creating amazing products at even more amazing prices is a brand that knows the power of a great influencer collaboration. One of the more recent collabs, and one that made me sit up and take notice was the Colourpop x Shayla collection. This collaboration partnered with YouTube […]

I’ve written a blog about my curly girl journey (or my wavy hair journey as the case may be) detailing the @ogx_beauty and @garnier products that I use. Click the link in the bio for more.
Swatches of the Out and Pout @morphebrushes Pink Nude lip kit featured in my previous post. It’s summer here so this one is quite Nude on me and I need to use a darker lipliner at this stage. Let me know if you want me to post a pic with me wearing it so that you get the idea (just in case you’re my skin tone and thinking of getting it). 💕
The @morphebrushes Out and Pout Nude Pink Trio - Nude gorgeousness!!! From @meccamaxima 💕
Holiday Makeup Favourites - a new blog post that takes you through the makeup I took on holiday. It’s a shop my stash! Click the link in my bio to read the full blog 💕
I’ve never posted a bikini pic before, but this @hinecollection by @miriaflavell makes me feel a certain kind of way. I’m proud of this body that has brought me through 48 years and given me three beautiful children. Celebrating the power of being a woman today . And ignore the weights, they belong to my son and I thought if I moved them I might pop something 😂 💕
Up on the blog now is my review of the @maybelline Nudes of New York eyeshadow palette. Spoiler alert, I was surprised by how much I liked it. It’s kind of like when you’re shopping for clothes and you see something on the rack that looks shapeless and basic and then you put it on and kapow! It’s a great palette and I’ve loved using it so far. Click the link in my bio to read the pull post and see some swatches 💕
Ever have days when you just can’t take a good selfie? This was one for me. It was hard to capture the just how pigmented the colours in my @oxx_makeup eyeshadows from @kmart.nz (featured in my previous post) were. This is the best that I could get. Hopefully you can see how the shadows were popping on my eyes.
I’ve been trying out some @oxx_makeup products recently - mainly due to recommendations from the @mamamiabeauty podcast and wow they were not wrong! I picked this little kit up from @kmart.nz and it’s pretty amazing. The hero is the eye palette - sooo pigmented and they lasted all day! Will I be going to get more? It’s a yes from me! 🙋🏽‍♀️
New blog post! My Korean Skincare Favourites. Read about the items that I’ve loved and repurchased as a result. I buy mine from @hikoconz or @ladybonita_nz Just click the link in my bio to read the full review 💕
My fave glosses at the moment @maybelline Lifter Glosses in Silk, Crystal and Amber. Swipe to see swatches and go to stories to see me applying Crystal 😎
DUPE ALERT 🚨 if you love the Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask then one product in this little trio is a dupe! I bought this kit from @kmart.nz for $5! That’s for all three. The Lip mask is a dead on dupe and I actually think it lasts even longer. If you can get your hands on it, do it. The other 2 products are good but the lip mask is the star of the show. I used it through my whole beach holiday and it kept my lips hydrated and supple. Thank goodness I bought two kits!
Okay so don’t fall off your chair, I’ve written a blog post. It’s been a while - actually I didn’t post for the entirety of 2020 because, well, 2020. In 2021 I’ve picked up the pen (or keyboard) again. I’ve realised that although I felt that posting about makeup and skincare during a pandemic seemed unnecessary (to me at the time) - in actuality blogs, YouTube podcasts and Instagram provided some much needed space away from the horrors of the day to day. I also realised that makeup and skincare was self care. And I love writing for me (not just for my job). So here are some of the things I learned in 2020, and my intentions for 2021. Hope you enjoy. Link to my blog is in my bio 💕
