Here is my Friday morning makeup mess.
I had an important meeting at work so decided to go a little more glam with some cooler tones than usual.
For my brows I used my Jordana brow powder in Brunette and set with Loreal Brow Artist Plumper also in Brunette. I’m enjoying using a powder lately for my brows rather than fully carved with my dipbrow pomade.
I contoured and bronzed my face with my NYC bronzer in Metropolitan, then applied Mac Mineralised blush in Gleeful and then finished my cheeks off with one of my favourite highlighters, The Balm Mary Lou-Manizer. It adds just the right white gold super sheen.
On my eyes I started with a Jordana eye/brow shadow in Light Ash Brown as my transition colour. It’s a cooler toned brown to link in with the rest of the colours I chose. Then I put down a base of Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe on the lids and blended in the edges. I then applied some Mac eyeshadow in Howzat which is a deep cool toned grey. I applied in the outer crease and then smoked out under my eyes. I finished by patting on some Mac Satin Taupe and then applied more Mary-Lou as my brow bone highlight.
On my lips I applied one of my favourite lipsticks, Mac Fast Play. A deeper dusky pink.
Here is a pic that I took half way through the day.
I liked wearing cooler tones for a change 🙂
